reflection on the Pearl

In 1947 John Steinbeck decided to write a book called "The Pearl". So far I am on chapter 3 of "The Pearl" and it is a interesting story. Kino and Juana are the main characters of the book, and I know that because they take a big part in many decisions that happen in the book. This book is kind of like a roller coaster ride because the characters are happy then they are sad, and then they are at the top of world and it is just confusing. The saddest part for me was when the doctor wouldn't help cure Juana and Kino's baby, I felt like I was right there with them when that tragedy happened.
