Who do you respect?

The person I respect the most is my grandpa Chapman, he died 4 years ago but it only feels like a few weeks a go. He was a wonderful man he always gave to the community and he was a hardworking man. He was a tax collector but he always did tons of peoples taxes for free. He was a very respectful man that's why when he passed away the library in Hartland donated a stone in my grandpa's memory. He even got a tree donated to him at the Hartland Ballpark because he helped out a lot there and he played baseball down there for a very long time. That was my grandpa and why I respect him the most.

Christmas

The sky is dark blue, and it is snowing out. All of a sudden we start to see people pull in the drive way. The people start getting out of the car, I started to sweat because I was so nervous. It turns out it was just my grandma and Grandpa. I just realized that today was Christmas, and we never put up Christmas decorations. But on the bright side, I get to open presents today,I am so excited. Every year I always just get one big gift for Christmas and my birthday. I hate getting just one present even ask anyone whose birthday is around Christmas. I don't know why I don't like getting just one present, maybe it is because I don't have as much things to play with; I don't know? I guess this is just how life works!

Mary Poppins literal annalysis

All of a sudden the howling wind started blowing and the sky got darker, and then a mysterious woman started floating down with her umbrella. The other nannies were gone and the only one left was the mystery woman that floated down with nothing but her umbrella. Her name was Mary Poppins and she was the answer to Mr. Bank’s family problem. In the movie “Mary Poppins” by P.L. Travers the plot line and characteristics proved that the mode of literature is Romance.

Although the characteristics helped prove the mode of literature, I am going to talk about the plot line first and how it helped prove the mode. The two main things on the romance plot line are a life symbolism and a minor conflict. Mary Poppins was the life symbolism because she was the new nanny for the kids. The minor conflict was that Mary Poppins almost got fired for bringing Bert and his chimney sweep friends into the house.

Although there was a minor conflict with the chimney sweeps Mary Poppins could do nothing wrong and she was completely in control. Also the movie was highly unrealistic and it was such a fantasy vision, because they could jump into pictures and fly with umbrellas. Things seemed much better than they really were and good was powerful while evil was weak. Which meant the dad was weak while Mary Poppins was strong.

The characteristics were just another thing to prove that the mode of literature of “Mary Poppins” is romance but the symbolism just topped it off. The movie took place in the spring time, where there are little birdies flying around and the flowers are starting to bloom. The baby animals and the singing really helped me find out the mode of literature for the movie “Mary Poppins.”
As you can see the movie “Mary Poppins” follows the romantic mode of literature. I said before that the plot line, characteristics and symbolism helped me figure the mode out. That is my take on the movie “Mary Poppins” by P.L Travers.

Basketball

Basketball is my favorite sport one because I am good at it and two because I just love hanging out with my friends. After every game my team goes out for ice cream and I always get chocolate. Our jerseys are so cool they are black with red letters and a white stripe on the side. It is very devistating because I can't play basketball for a while because I fractured my arm playing in a basketball game. I hope I can play soon or I am going to die.

Creative Story

It was a windy day when the man crossed the road and went into the bus station. Who knows what he was going to do, so my friends and I followed him. We had to move quickly to keep up with the man because he was walking fast as if he was in a hurry. The man suddenly stopped and started to turn around, my friends and I had to dive into a bush so the man would not see us. Apparently the bush that we went into had prickers so we all ran out of those bushes and when we looked back the man was gone. My friends and I walked back to my house for some snacks. We were eating in the kitchen when we saw the man from the bus station go by in a car with a suitcase.
We all jumped up and we must have been thinking the same thing because we all ran to our bikes and started to follow that car. The man suddenly made a sharp turn which made him notice us and then he started going faster and faster until we couldn't keep up with him anymore. I guess we will never find out where he was going. O wait there he is, right in that gas station on the corner. "Mr hold it right there!" The man looked around to see who was talking to him "What is in that suitcase of yours?" Just as we finished the question the man ran out and drove away. Luckily he left a check with his name on it Robert L Harrison, I guess he did find one thing out about this man.

Tubing

While I was in Oshkosh on the Fox River where my cabin is my dad decided it would be fun to go tubing. Our cabin is on a the Fox river but if you have ever seen the Fox River well lets just say it is very dirty and dangerous. There are tons of trees that fell into the river, so just imagine a person tubing on this river with all these trees falling down beside them. We eventually just gave up and went tubing on the river and it was one of the scariest places that I ever tubed. I will never go tubing on the Fox River ever again.

Weekend

This weekend I am going to Door County with Madison Giordano. We are leaving Thursday sometime and coming back either Saturday or Sunday. I am so excited because we are going to actual haunted houses that have real ghosts in the house. Also we are going to have tons of my favorite snacks like ranch pretzels, this buttery caramel popcorn thing and tons of yummy snacks. We are going to go trick or treating up in Door County and it is just going to be so much fun. I will be so sad when we have to go home on Saturday or Sunday.

Candy

Candy

There are tons of candies in the world but my favorite candy would be any kind of chocolate. Health Bars, Snickers and 100 grand's are my favorite kind of chocolate because they have caramel and many more things in them then just chocolate. Halloween is one of my favorite holiday because it is where kinds can just go all out and eat tons of candy. Most kids get stomach aches from eating too much candy. Now that I am older I don't enjoy trick or treating as much as I used to but I still enjoy the candy that I get. My sister and I always split candy once we are done because I like different things than she does. I can't wait for Halloween to get tons of more candy.

Beaches

Beaches
I have been to many beaches but by far Florida had the best beaches. When I went down to Florida 2 years ago with my grandma and grandpa because they own a condo down in Florida. Our condo was right on the beach and if we look right out our balcony we would see the ocean, that was how close we were to the beach. Everyday we went down to the beach and swam and suntanned. But one day I decided to French braid my hair so it would look curly. Well my hair got curly but my part got burnt on my head because I was enjoying the beach too much and I went in later than I expected. For the rest of the trip when ever I brushed my hair my head stung like crazy.
After 3 days I was finally able to brush my hair and go out and see Florida. The beach was just incredible and where ever you looked you saw sand and people. One day instead of going to the beach my grandma surprised my sister and I by going down to the Daytona 500 Race Track and getting us a tour. We saw the Matt Kenseth race car that won that year, and we were so excited to see it because Matt Kenseth is from Wisconsin and so are we. We did incredible things in Florida and I will never forget our trip.

Does Patriotism Still Matter?

Patriotism
To have patriotism you need to have honor for your country. You are supposed to vote and do things for the community to have patriotism. Most people believe that being in the war is having patriotism. Patriotism isn’t about being in the war it is about having honor for your country.
Honor is just one of the many things you need to have to be able to have Patriotism. You need to be able to have love and respect for your country. One of the many things that devastated out country was the twin towers getting hit by two airplanes. That just shows us that we have faith in our country because we made it through that day.
Most people ask, “What does patriotism even do for our country?” Patriotism does tons and tons of things for our country. For example it motivates they army or people to join the army and fight for our country. Also it helps us to vote and really get involved in Community work. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love my country. I love my country because I have a free right of speech and I am able to hang out with the people I want to hang out with. Religion is also a big part in my life because my church helps me solve my problems. The person that makes this all possible is the president of the United States.
Presidents are very important because they are like the glue to a country. They fight for our rights and want everyone to get along. Some presidents were better than others but that doesn’t matter they helped us get where we are today. Our world today is far better than it ever was and I have patriotism to thank for that.
