Cursed City

Days of rain had swelled the river, floods threatened to break loose.  It had been raining for 30 years non-stop.  I don’t know how much more rain I can bear, otherwise I might do the unthinkable.  But one day as I look out the window I feel like today might be different, unordinary and maybe even unique.  As I continue to gaze out the window I can tell that in fact it will be one amazing day!  Why?  Well as you can plainly see the sun is peaking out from behind the gray dreary clouds.  Not only is the sun starting to come out from beyond but the raining, and the flooding has convincingly stopped!  Our cursed city is no longer.
